Tokens 

After a week, I can say I'm happy with Rosie. It runs Eve in the 1680x1050 resolution just fine (haven't tried any other 'real'games yet), everything opens/starts fairly quickly, the screen and its colours look pretty (in the shade). Two hours tops of real-use battery life could've been better, the screen backlighting is uneven when you don't view it from straight ahead, and the layout of the arrow and associated keys is plain annoying (though I understand more or less standard for laptops), but oh well. Can't have everything.

I also bought a music CD today. A note-worthy event, I suppose.
