Rampant consumerism has a new face. It is a pretty face, judging from the pics and videos I've seen, but even though I'm a gadget freak, I don't ever want to have one. In fact, I don't even want to be in the same room with one. As Maddox would say, I'm not 'cool enough'. I don't want to be cool enough. The hype just disgusts me. I did my best to ignore it, and it worked fairly well, until my completely technologically illiterate mother asked me if I'd heard about this cool new phone, and proceeded to tell me all about it. At which point I just... Controlled myself.

For chopped carrot's sake. It's a phone. It's not even a particularly useful phone.
