Now that the excitement has worn off...
I really like Robert Heinlein's work. But there are two things that annoy me about his writing. Firstly, sometimes he gets lost in philosophical ramblings, and that happens at the expense of the story. And secondly, his heroes are usually supermen, who do all kinds of extraordinary things, disguised as average Joes. Which is kind of frustrating... But I still like him much more than Asimov or Clarke.
