If I had a dollar for every time I heard it said, it's not just a [insert a random type of activity here], it's a
lifestyle!, I'd be a rich man. I wonder why people feel a need to have their lives defined by
one activity... Why they want to give a greater meaning to their basically insignificant pastimes, I can understand, but can't they see how obvious their intention is? (And when they say it in Croatian, but fail to replace the word 'lifestyle' with an appropriate Croatian expression... Such people really should be hung by their necks until they're dead.)
When I talk about myself, I don't want to be able to say, I'm this-one-thing-doer. I don't want to look and behave like a stereotype of something. I don't like being closed in a box, even if it's of my own making. I like doing different things. Preferably simultaneously. It's more fun that way.
