Or maybe... 

...I should just forget about the laptop, and get myself a desktop of twice the power and much lower price? But on the other hand, I could carry a laptop around with me... Not that I go around that much, but being able to use a computer in bed... Or in an armchair... Well, I still have the money problem. Which I can't solve right now. :(
Blah. A good thing I removed the cash out of my reach. Makes things much more simple, even though this look-but-don't-touch situation pains me.
